After a clean Lone Star Le Mans race, both TOYOTA GAZOO Racing crews sprayed champagne on the Circuit of the Americas podium. By coming second, the #8 TS050 HYBRID managed to reduce the gap to the #7 sister car, running with maximum penalty, and make the title fight even closer after five out of eight rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
