Motorsports is all about teamwork, and understanding the job of your team-mates can be essential. In Shanghai, the #8 TS050 HYBRID drivers Sébastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Brendon Hartley underwent a special training programme and became part of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's pit stop crew. Part 1 of the ‘driver mechanic job swap' shows Sébastien taking over the job as driver helper Thanh Mai who normally supports the drivers in opening and closing their seat belts. This time they did it the other way round.
